Job Description
Type: Part time, as needed
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7am to 5pm
Pay: $18.00 an hour
Responsibilities of the Dental Assistant:
· Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
· Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
· Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
· Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
· Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
· Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
· Schedule appointments
· Charting patients when indicated for proper diagnosis
· Take dental x-rays when needed
Qualifications for the Dental Assistant:
· Prior Dental Assistant experience is recommended but not required.
· Ability to provide high-quality patient care
