Opportunity for Variety of Assisting General and Specialty Providers

FULL-TIME DENTAL ASSISTANT - 4 DAYS MONDAY-THURS/FRIDAY 8-5 with available Friday hours ( only until 2 pm) - rotating with other assistants

Our well established, family practice is looking for an amazing clinical assistant! The assistant will provide clinical support to our general and specialty doctors as well as provide administrative help with our front office staff.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
• Excellent radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide postoperative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Dentrix / Dexis or digital radiograph equivalent necessary
• Dental Assisting certification: Licensed, registered, or certified by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Required
• Radiology Certification
• BLS Certification Required- current certification required
• HIPAA Training Completed
• OSHA Training Completed

Duties:

• Assisting chair-side
• Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
• Using computers to update electronic patient records
• Assisting with lab tasks as needed
• Assisting with front office tasks as needed

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
