As a Demand Planner, you will forecast organization material or product requirements needed to support capital optimization, corporate strategy, and production/sales objectives, and adjust business and sales plans according to business demands.

Responsibilities

  • You will define the plan or forecast and manage it for a service or area, incorporating the business drivers into the plan (e.g., forecast, budget) and gain an understanding of what is required to achieve plan (e.g., promotions, sales resources, collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment [CPFR], budget, engineering changes).
  • You will contribute to the development of a capacity order plan that meets customer needs, while maintaining compliance to supply and execution policies, throughout capacities and contractual requirements.
  • You will learn to collaborate with others to leverage data to identify pockets of opportunity to apply statistical analyses to improve solutions to a business problem.
  • You will interpret the business implications of study results and reports findings to stakeholders and inform business decisions through the use of benchmarks, best practices, and other supply-chain business intelligence.
  • You will seek strategies to streamline, automate, and simplify processes, including deployment of tools, using data analytics, and working with information technology (IT) groups to define system requirements

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology (IT), Business, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience
Demand Planning IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $64,800 - $115,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $86,400 - $129,600 per year.
