THIS POSITION IS REQUIRED TO BE WITHIN THE LOCAL GEOGRAPHICAL AREA OF PACIFIC, WA. ALTHOUGH THE POSITION IS REMOTE, ON SITE VISITS WILL BE REQUIRED ON A REGULAR BASIS.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our team. This role involves analyzing market trends, historical data, and consumer behavior to accurately predict future product demand, thereby ensuring efficient inventory management and supply chain optimization. The goal is to enhance customer satisfaction by maintaining optimal inventory levels, reducing stockouts, and minimizing excess inventory.

Requirements

• Required to have a dedicated work area established
• Ability to keep company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that receives a high-speed internet connection or ability to leverage an existing high-speed internet service
• Familiarity with Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in demand forecasting or a similar role, preferably in the toy industry or a consumer goods environment.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in international supply chain management, especially with Chinese suppliers.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced forecasting tools. Specifically, NetSuite and NetStock.
• Multilingual capabilities, particularly proficiency in Mandarin, would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with international logistics and customs regulations.
Salary Description
$33 - $44 per Hour
