Tesla is looking for an experienced program and people manager to lead our logistics activities associated with large scale, fast paced delivery activities across North America. This position will program manage logistics requirements to support delivery distribution and last mile capabilities. In addition to logistics execution the candidate must build successful working relationships cross-functionally with multiple departments related to manufacturing and delivery.
- Manage logistics execution supporting last mile for delivery vehicles.
- Drive development as well as implementation of needed processes and systems to improve efficiency at local delivery centers.
- Work with Internal stakeholders to optimize and meet requirements. Departments include sales, delivery, fleet, marketing, engineering
- Align on key success metrics and drive results aligned with delivery priorities
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in operations and / or supply chain related functions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or Logistics, or equivalent experience
- Strong critical thinking and resolution in ambiguous situations
- Strong organizational skill with the ability to manage both strategic and tactical responsibilities
- Experience with MS Office Applications, including knowledge of Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Tableau a plus
- Ability to write, speak and present effectively and persuasively at all levels
Compensation and Benefits
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$60,000 - $240,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
