Delivery Driver - Class A Cdl

Class A CDL DriverPosition summary:

Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck to transport and deliver equipment between manufacturing facilities and retail locations.

Class A CDL Driver Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
• Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service/repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking to make sure vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
• Load outbound freight utilizing lift equipment.
• Perform material handling functions when not on deliveries.
• Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Class A CDL Driver Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate),
• One year of commercial driving experience,
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License,
• Ability to meet DOT certification requirements,
• Satisfactory driving record
• Commitment to safety & quality
