Dakota’s Best Distributing is a food and general merchandise wholesale company rooted in our love for our customers and pride in our products. We are looking for full-time Delivery Driver for our business in Rapid City, SD.

• Work in partnership with management and the sales team to ensure warehouse and delivery needs are met while balancing the demands of constantly evolving warehouse and service operations.
• Understand the urgency of accurate redistribution of goods from storage onto trucks for delivery and respects that our customers expect high quality products in excellent condition in a timely and routine delivery schedule.
• Maintain effective internal schedules and controls to mitigate risks and provide for the movement of merchandise correctly, safely, without damage and on time.
• Maintain a safe workplace.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year prior delivery experience preferred.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and reliability.
• Able to read and understand pick slips, shipping and receiving paperwork.
• Comfortable with driving for extended periods of time and ability to drive in inclement weather as needed.
• This position may be subject to post accident drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
