Position: Director of Analytics

The Director of Analytics is responsible for leading and managing the analytics department. Responsible for designing, building, and optimizing systems for data collection, storage, access, and analytics in a format digestible by AI. Work across the enterprise to support current and future company requirements in BI and AI.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the analytics department, providing guidance, direction, and support in their day-to-day activities.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy to support the organization's business objectives.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources, including internal systems, third-party tools, and market research, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track and measure performance against these metrics.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis, helping them make informed decisions and drive business growth.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in analytics tools and technologies, and evaluate their potential to improve our data analysis capabilities.
- Drive data governance initiatives by establishing data quality standards, ensuring data accuracy, and implementing data security measures.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data infrastructure, systems, and tools are optimized to support efficient data collection, storage, and analysis.
- Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and visualizations.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization, promoting the use of Analytics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Set up essential data infrastructure to integrate, transform, and deliver the data in a format digestible by AI.
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive data modeling
- Implementing an effective and prioritized way to handle the data and AI tasks backlog.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar position with expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS), data processing engines, data visualization (PowerBI), ETL processes.
- Certified and knowledgeable in one of the cloud computing providers (AWS, Azure):
- Azure Fundamentals or Azure Data Fundamentals or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Knowledgeable in Databricks
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel
- Advanced knowledge in SQL
- Advanced knowledge in Python
- Experienced in QlikSense development preferred
- Knowledgeable in Spark and PySpark
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Possesses strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow-through skills.

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Required major/field of study: in the area of Business, IT, Analytics or Statistics
