Decision Support Center Peer Specialist- Full-Time

Beacon Light Behavioral Health System is looking for a full-time Decision SupportPeer Specialist who is responsible for working with consumers age 14+ via the Common Ground Software to empower consumers and provide them the tools to have an active voice in their recovery. Responsibilities include providing recovery oriented peer support, assisting the consumer in identifying Personal Medicine, writing power statements, completion of the Common Ground report and using Decision Aid Worksheets.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Be a self-identified individual who has received or is receiving state priority group services
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• One years' work experience in human services preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This position gives preference to individuals with an active driver's license and a DMV check that is clear. Position may require travel in the local community or to assist with individuals attending required appointments or visits.
