Position Tittle: Decision Support Analyst (Remote)
Client Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104
Duration: Temp to permanent role.
Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for the operational management of the Syntellis Performance Manager Decision Support System (DSS) and SDS Datamart. Operations include the loading and auditing of Health System data into Performance Manager, report writing, security administration, education and training, resolving data, system, or user issues, and the continual growth and enhancement of department capabilities.
Accountabilities:
" Loads and audits health system data from Epic into the Decision Support System (DSS) monthly.
" Designs, implements, and audits production and ad-hoc reports using the DSS tool set.
" Helps to maintain user profiles and security settings within the DSS applications.
" Provides education to DSS users in the DSS applications and tool set.
" Contributes to the analysis, implementation, and auditing in the growth and enhancements of the DSS system.
" Participates in system upgrades and scheduled vendor releases/maintenance as assigned.
" Delivers customer service to Operational clients seamlessly across system boundaries.
" Creates and/or maintains clear internal and external documentation of all elements pertaining to data management data sources, fields, data models, table structures, queries, changes, etc.
" Interprets and analyzes complex workflow/system requirements in order to design, configure, test and implement application solutions.
" Develops, and executes test plans that are comprehensive and inclusive of application functionality changes and/or enhancements to ensure successful outcomes.
" Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures.
" Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization.
Education/Experience
Required Bachelors Degree 3+ years Professional experience in healthcare and strong PC skills.
Masters Degree prefer
Certification:
Prior certification in Epic Clarity Data Model is desirable; if not, candidate will be expected to successfully obtain certification within the first six months of employment.
Certification in Epic Resolute Hospital or Professional Billing is desirable, but not required.

Additional Info:
Ideal candidate is someone looking for permanant placement. Will consider temp to perm, but perm is preferred.
Submission cover form should inlcude either of both - hourly rate (temp to perm,) and salary requests for perm. Salary range is mid 60's to high 90's based on experience.

Experience with Syntellis (now part of Strata) Performance Manager Decision Support System. (other Cost Accounting systems would be acceptable as well, i.e. StrataJazz, EPSI, or Axiom)
Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Datastage, Databricks, Excel, and/or PowerBI.
Experience in data analysis, report designing, development, and deployment.
Ability to troubleshoot, research and solve technically challenging problems.
