Minimum Qualifications:Master’s Degree with five (5) years of professional experience in a postsecondary academic setting. Professional experience in oversight of postsecondary student-related programs and policies, data and assessment, shared governance and supervision. Demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations and use of data analytics with proven results. Excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills. Adept with computer technology and software platforms. Ability to work independently with little supervision and handle extremely sensitive and confidential matters discretely. Nature and Scope of Duties: The Dean of Enrollment Services reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs and serves on the Vice President’s Leadership Team as a senior member of the Student Affairs Division supporting the vision and mission of the college and professional development of staff. 1. Oversees and coordinates continual assessment and improvement of Enrollment steps and process.2. Leads Enrollment Innovation Team meetings and the development of new enrollment initiatives.3. Works closely with the entire campus community on any and all enrollment-related initiatives/ideas and keeps the campus community aware of new and ongoing strategies.4. Responsible for oversight and revision/renewal of the college’s strategic enrollment plan.5. Monitors enrollment trends and demographic shifts internal and external to the college and coordinates changes responsive to those trends.6. Responsible for administrative oversight of the Enrollment Services Unit including, but not limited to, the Admissions Office, First Year Experience/Orientation and Testing Office and Student Outreach, Advisement and Retention Office.7. Assists Enrollment Services Unit departments in monitoring and assessing programs, procedures and policies. Facilitates changes to such programs, procedures and policies as they related to cross-divisional and inter-departmental coordination.8. In conjunction with admissions staff, works closely with Academic Affairs and Communications & Marketing on various enrollment initiatives and related marketing efforts.9. Develops new student enrollment projections in conjunction with the college's enrollment team, division deans, department chairpersons, institutional research staff and other appropriate college personnel.10. Works closely with the State University of New York (SUNY) on system-wide enrollment initiatives and serves as chief enrollment officer at SUNY-sponsored meetings.11. Coordinates exchange of Enrollment-related correspondence/data with SUNY System Administration as needed.12. Attends and participates in meetings and conferences related to enrollment as they align with college initiatives and strategic plans.13. Participates in a variety of College Committees and external meetings, programs and conferences as directed by the Vice President for Student Affairs.14. Represents the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs as needed and performs other duties as assigned.
