Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare center
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Foster positive social interactions among children and encourage cooperation and sharing
- Monitor children's development and behavior, and communicate any concerns to parents or guardians
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including administering first aid when necessary
Skills:
- Classroom management: Ability to create a structured and organized learning environment for children
- Preschool: Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices for preschool-aged children
- Toddler care: Experience in caring for toddlers, including meeting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs
- Daycare: Understanding of the unique challenges and responsibilities of working in a daycare setting
- Caregiving: Ability to provide compassionate care to children, ensuring their well-being and happiness
- First aid: Knowledge of basic first aid procedures to respond to accidents or injuries
- Childhood development: Familiarity with the stages of child development and appropriate activities for each stage
- Infant care: Experience in caring for infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques
- Early childhood education: Understanding of educational theories and practices for young children
- Experience with children: Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
