You will work as a consultant contractor (1099) for this role to work for a government agency, however your contract will be directly with errorHandle. We are in the process of submitting a proposal for a government contract and need to submit the selected candidate details as part of the requirements for different positions and this position is one of the fulfilments.

Responsibilities:
Database technical design, storage configuration, space management, backup and
recovery, disaster recovery, troubleshooting.
Development and maintenance of integrated databases and technical assistance in
the design of new systems and/or modifications to existing systems including data
modeling.
Database programming and the use of stored procedures, triggers, or similar
development approaches.
Monitor performance and provide ongoing tuning of databases.
Install new database versions and upgrades.
Support for development, test and production environments.
Develop and maintain database administration procedures and operations to
optimize database availability.
Evaluate and solicit feedback on processes to identify areas of improvement for
optimizing transactions.
Assist with impact analysis of changes to database objects.
Qualifications:
Experience with entity-relationship diagrams and relational database development
tools.
Experience in Structured Analysis and Design techniques, data dictionaries, database
schemas and database security.
Experience in investigating, analyzing and modeling corporate data, including
corporate databases, application systems and associated interfaces. Also ensure the
appropriate design, configuration, integration, and installation of database
management system applications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, and three years or
more of related full-time, paid experience as an Oracle, SQL Server or AIX
administrator.
Strong initiative and leadership skills, strong work ethic, responsibility and
dedication.
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
Strong verbal and writing skills.

Pay: $36.00 - $95.00 per hour
