Work with large-scale datasets to solve complex business and technical problems in gaming through analytics, forecasting, machine learning, recommender system, generative AI, experimentation, causal inference, and econometrics. Collaborate with studios as well as product and engineering teams to explore and develop data-informed strategies in gaming business and drive the implementation of solutions to generate business value. Data Science, ML and generative AI knowledge and technologies, effectively utilize advanced technologies and tools for application attempts, and explore innovation in gaming application research. Actively participate in technical sharing, documentation construction, cross-team communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- M.S., or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in statistical analysis (probabilities, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, time series analysis, predictive modeling, A/B experiments, etc.).
- Experience with building complex data products and machine learning systems on large datasets preferred.
- Experience programming in SQL, Python, or related languages.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, execution capabilities, and keen business acumen.
- Passionate about games and the gaming industry.
- Consulting background is welcome.
The base pay range for this position in California is $24.84 to $57.69 per hour. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
