Job Title:Lead Data Scientist with Generative AI

Location: Bellevue, WA (Onsite Role)

About the Role:

• Work with customer stakeholder to design and implement machine learning methods per requirement. Maintain clear understanding of strategic goals, business challenges and customer needs.

What You Will Do:

Data Analysis and Modeling:

• Utilize advanced statistical techniques to analyze complex datasets.
• Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, clustering, and optimization.
• Perform feature engineering and selection to improve model performance.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of model performance and interpret results.

GenAI Expertise:

• Design and develop algorithms inspired by principles of genetics and evolution for problem-solving.
• Implement genetic algorithms, genetic programming, and other evolutionary computation techniques to optimize solutions.
• Tune and evolve algorithms to adapt to changing environments or objectives.

Algorithm Development:

• Develop custom algorithms tailored to specific business needs or research objectives.
• Research and experiment with cutting-edge techniques in data science and artificial intelligence, including advancements in GenAI.

Data Preprocessing and Cleaning:

• Clean, preprocess, and normalize data for analysis, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Handle missing data and outliers effectively to improve model robustness.

Model Deployment and Integration:

• Deploy machine learning models into production environments.
• Integrate models into existing software systems or platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration and scalability.

What You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or related field.
• 10 years of experience in building data science, machine learning solutions using Python, Scala, Spark DataBricks, SQL or similar.
• Experience in text GenAI & LLM.
• Deep understanding of probability, statistics, machine learning, anomalies/outliers’ detection, data correlation/feature analysis, machine learning models.
• Strong fundamentals in problem solving, algorithm design, and model building.
• Excellent Code writing capability in Python and familiarity with relevant ML packages.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $87,922.20 - $130,000.00 per year
