SalaryWe are looking for a Controls Engineering Intern to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to our Principal Engineer, Data Science and based on-site.
Role and Responsibilities:
Candidates must have a background in one or more of the following requirements:
- Machine Learning/ Data Analytics:
- Assist in analyzing diverse sets of imperfect data and finding common patterns, theme and trends by using Big Data tools and machine learning
- Operations Research/ Statistical Analysis:
- Understanding of statistical learning and scheduling/strategy optimization and stochastic modelling
- Full Stack Development/ Data Engineering:
- Develop REST API that would store process data, run analytics, generate KPIs and take automated control actions.
- Build clear and concise data visualization dashboards
Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in advanced process control, modeling, optimization, estimation & data analysis techniques
- Proficient with Python/R/Java/Scala/Matlab or similar language – (Prefer Python)
- Experience with functional or object-oriented scalable software design and development
- Experience with algorithm development and implementation (Python desired)
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Hadoop and REST APIs
- Full stack development experience using popular frameworks – Angular, React, Node
- Working with open source databases and tools
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Comfortable working in teams
Salary Ranges:
$20.70 - $31.55
