Grange provides a unique internship experience through the Grange Intern Development Program. The 10-week program is designed to expose students to the insurance industry through networking, mentoring, hands-on work experience, and community service. The interns will work day-to-day in their respective departments while also working as a group on a corporate project, which concludes with a capstone presentation to senior leaders. Summary:
This position will support the three primary areas of our Enterprise Data Office: data governance, data integration, and data analysis and reporting. Duties include supporting the documentation of metadata and business rules associated to critical business terms; analyze systems by profiling data to be used as input for technical requirements; build pipelines to extract and transform data for business users; develop new reports and perform maintenance on existing reports.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform data analysis and build ETL jobs
- Develop and enhance reports
- Gather and document metadata as needed
- Attend and assist with Data Governance Working Group Meetings
- Attend and assist with Business Prioritization meetings
