BGIS is currently seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join the team in Seattle, WA.

The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for a number of tasks that support the ongoing operations of the People & Culture team. Key job activities include administering, tracking, system access set-up, performing support activities for Data Entry/management, reporting, and general office duties. The Data Entry Specialist will have strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, problem solve, and excellent attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service
- Provide prompt and excellent customer service to BGIS team members, managers and functional leaders.
- Promptly respond to questions and/or direct questions to appropriate BGIS and HR resources.
Human Resource Operations
- Data entry of HRMS information including new hires, transfers, separations, job changes, pay changes, etc.
- Create, organize, and maintain documents and files (electronic & paper).
- Prepare, research, and distribute weekly and special reports, as requested.
- Support HR sponsored company events.
- Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives, as assigned.
- Handle mail and distribute to appropriate BGIS team members in a timely manner.
- Assist with team member ID badges and maintaining badge printer.
REQUIRED / DESIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks of high priority, in professional, confidential, and efficient manner required.
- Strong attention to detail, with an emphasis on accuracy and consistency.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Current valid driver's license and ability to provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office with reimbursement.
