Systems for Public Safety, Inc. is a Ford QVM automotive "up-fitter" and maintenance facility dedicated to serving police and fire fleets. We upfit vehicles for cities and counties all over Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska.
We are looking for someone who is conscientious, a detail-oriented worker who is self-motivated with good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Processing all accounts payable transactions including vendor bills and credit card charges, ensuring accuracy of each bill and proper expense classification.
- Coordinates with Purchasing when invoices are generated to alert them of shipped items
- Close out PO's in the system.
- Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices, or receiving discrepancies with Purchasing and Receiving departments to ensure both pricing and quantity accuracy.
- Maintain copies of invoices and other vendor correspondence according to record retention policies
Requirements:
- At least three years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft suite of Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficient in Quickbooks
