We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining various types of data into our computerized systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and is proficient in using databases and Microsoft Excel.
Duties:
- Enter data into computerized systems accurately and efficiently
- Verify accuracy of entered data by comparing it to source documents
- Review and correct any errors or discrepancies in the data
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all data entered
- Perform regular backups to ensure data integrity
- Retrieve and transcribe information from various sources as needed
- Sort, organize, and file paperwork as required
- Assist with other clerical tasks as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in Data Entry or a similar clerical role is preferred but not required
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate Data Entry
- Familiarity with databases and ability to navigate through different systems
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
