Data Entry Customer Service Agent will make outbound calls to health insurance carriers to verify private health insurance information and update the client records in the system. The CSR will also verify other health insurance by web verification.
- This role is a Hybrid Role and will require you to work one week in the office every 3 weeks. All candidates MUST live in the San Antonio, TX area. Hours are 10AM-7PM M-F Central Time Zone. Will be a assigned an 8 hour shift during the times above i.e 8am-5pm, 7am-4pm, 7am-6pm CST.
- Equipment will be provided to work from home.
- Must have strong internet connection and the ability to hardwire into your computer to provide a better internet connection.
- Interview will be on video.
- Perform outbound calls to other health insurance carriers to verify private health insurance information
- 1 year verifying health insurance information
- 2 years call center experience
- Adaptability to constant change
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Strong Computer Skills are required
- Experience working with multiple computer monitors and toggling from screen to screen while interacting with customers
- 6 weeks of onsite training
- Must have experience with MS Excel
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Collect policy information from health insurance carriers
- Verify clients’ insurance information.
- Accurately enter insurance data into Third Party Liability (TPL) database
- Verify health insurance policy information via health insurance carrier’s web portal
- Maintain quality score of 98% or better
- Perform special research
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Observe professional standards of conduct, including attendance, professional behavior, and dress code
