The strongest candidates for this position will have an eagle eye for even the tiniest inconsistencies and errors and be able to create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes. In this position, you will handle a range of accounting and finance support functions, with an emphasis on effective record keeping. The clerk's responsibilities will mainly include entering high volumes of data into Microsoft Excel and ERP systems and databases with utmost precision and speed and must possess a high level of organization, reliability and attention to detail. This long-term contract Data Entry Clerk position is in the Ossining, New York area.
Your responsibilities in this role
- Detecting flaws in data while processing customer and account source documents
- Gathering and organizing information to be entered into the computer; prioritizing entries
- Continuing operations in accordance with policies and procedures; communicating needed changes
- Assisting with Data Entry and additional administrative tasks
- Following data program techniques and procedures to maintain Data Entry requirements
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive materials
- Assisting with special projects as required
- Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to use multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma, GED, or other equivalent
- Strong familiarity with Enter Invoices
- Data entry experience desired
- Knowledge of Enter Invoices
- Strong time management and organizational skills
