Data Entry Clerk

Greenwood General Insurance Agency has been providing insurance services since 2010. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a Data Entry professional to provide secretarial and administrative support in a friendly, well-organized and timely manner.
Training is provided, prior experience is a plus.
Tasks include (but are not limited to): Data entry, emailing, reporting issues and system glitches, and in general assisting the leadership team.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. (lifting boxes of documents, rarely)
POSITION LEVEL:
This is an entry level position with tremendous room for growth and advancement.
TRAINING:
Training in insurance computer programs and insurance-specific tasks will be provided. After learning the basics of your position, you will be encouraged to take on higher levels of responsibility and tasks
SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS NEEDED

• Dependable.
• Strong communication skills: Proficient at articulating speech and communicating ideas over the phone, in-person meetings, and via email.
• Proficiency in English, grammar, spelling, etc.
• Team Player: Ability to keep an open mind and collaborate with executive leadership.
• Problem Solving Orientation: Able to identify and recommend solutions for various issues.
• High Energy, extroverted individuals preferred.
• Highly Motivated and takes pride in accomplishing goals.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
• People-oriented, enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects.
• Detail-oriented.
• Autonomous/Independent: enjoys working with little direction but also willing to accept orders.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

• Reliable transportation.
• Computer Literate: Type 60+ WPM, Basic Knowledge of Windows 10 Navigation and applications.
• Microsoft Office Proficient
• High School Graduate
• No college education necessary but an Associate’s Degree is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
