The Data Entry Clerk will be the key liaison for administrative and Data Entry for our billing team in Chicago. This position participate in the onboarding of new accounts, provide administrative support for current clients and ensure all action items are completed in the system. This will be a hybrid role or potentially fully remote.
Skills & Qualifications
- Displays strong attention to detail while entering data across multiple platforms
- Comfortable working with various different departments (Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse/Inventory, and Operations Plant Supervisors/Customer Service Teams)
- Ability to navigate Microsoft suite (Office 365, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Reliable and ability to see processes from start to finish
- Content with performing repetitive work
Key Responsibilities/Key Tasks
- Monitor Customer Phone Call Queue, including answering and addressing all customer questions and/or complaints associated with invoicing.
- Create Salesforce Work tickets and forward to applicable departments if unable to address Customer questions.
- Provide timely customer service to customers via phone and email.
- Collaborate with collections, sales, and plants to research and resolve customer billing questions.
- Reviewing, analyzing and contract set up of customer profiles
- Analyzing the complexity of the contract to ensure proper set up and billing terms of individual customer sites
- Timely and accurate processing of customer invoices for services and accessories performed and sold.
- Identifying and processing billing adjustments in a timely manner.
- Gathering and summarizing supplemental billing information to accommodate customer billing requirements.
- Collaborating with plant administrators to ensure the proper closing of routes in Route Optix.
- Setting performance standards and ensuring that the appropriate coverage is in place to meet or exceed service goals
- Align Billing practices with interdepartmental teams EG: Accounts Receivable
