Coordinate the collection, processing and reporting of student data and maintenance of school records.

- Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
- Ability to use computer and software to develop spreadsheets and word processing
- Proficient typing, keyboarding, and file maintenance skills
- Ability to meet established deadlines
- Strong organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Coordinate the collection, integration, and formatting of data for assigned area of responsibility according to communicated standards.
- Work cooperatively with campus, business office, and personnel office staff to collect, organize, and format data required to submit Student Information data in a timely manner
- Run edits, reports, and verification checks on data to ensure accuracy of information
- Distribute edits and reports to appropriate staff to allow adequate time for effective analysis, verification, and correction
- Submit complete and accurate data for processing as assigned
- Participate in related training and share appropriate information with staff members as needed
- Maintain physical and computerized records including student cumulative folders, progress and failure reports, class rosters, schedules, schedule changes, transcripts and grade books.
- Process new student records, including requesting transcripts and records from other schools, setting up cumulative folder, and entering student data into appropriate databases.
- Process routine records such as grades or attendance as assigned.
- Process and transmit requests for Student Information, including student transcripts for colleges and universities.
- Prepare and distribute reports as assigned
- Assist other staff members with the enrollment, withdrawal, and transfer of students; processing records/data as assigned.
- Assist others with the preparation of reports and student data information.
- Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy
- Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents required
- Maintain confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Data entry experienceData entry experience in a school setting preferred
