Job description
As a Product Development Chemist, you will be part of a highly motivated and cross-functional team that develops adhesives for the building construction and furniture applications
Synthesize polyurethane adhesives – hotmelt and liquid - and perform standard laboratory tests to characterize their performance
Utilize processing equipment to evaluate adhesive processability and prepare assemblies to test bond quality
Tabulate, plot, and interpret data to determine trends and recommend future experiments
Plan and organize laboratory projects, maintain meticulous records using digital tools, and present results and status to stakeholders
Engage with colleagues in manufacturing to scale-up products developed in the lab and sustain existing products
Assure all work is carried out in a safe manner, and products and processes comply with all regulatory requirements
