Basic Purpose
The Data Center Marketing Manager develops and executes marketing campaigns for Tate products and services targeting the Data Center co-location and cloud storage players. This role has a direct influence supporting the commercial and engineering teams delivering robust purposeful campaigns with speed that speak to the hearts and mind of our Data Center customers. The Data Center Marketing Manager will drive the Tate marketing strategy, communicate our brand, and support our vision in where we see our company going. The Data Center Marketing Manager is expected to lead the execution of marketing initiatives across a range of targeted channels.
Responsibilities
- Creates and implements the marketing strategy and ensures that the Tate brand is recognized as a market leader across our target industry.
- Works closely with the commercial and project management teams in Tate to understand the business growth strategy and translates it into practical and achievable marketing plans, with on-point messaging while delivering them on time, on budget and aligns to our Kingspan Group Marketing Integrity manual as well as compliance principles.
- Defines the customer personas relevant to our industry and customer profile to create accurate consistent communications around key messages in our business that resonate and drive continual engagement. These will form the basis of quarterly account based marketing plans.
- Understands and translates our products as well as manufacturing processes and operations into benefit led language as part of a proactive communications approach to customers. Defines what proactive communications are needed to get timely accurate information to customers that are both in life and onboarding.
- Takes learnings and insights from across the Tate team on design features, formats, installations, case studies and milestones to inform the regions driving alignment and demonstrate our close working relationships.
- Educates the market about the performance and sustainable advantages of Tate solutions for our target sector.
- Manages our external agencies to develop great marketing in a very fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
- Works collaboratively with colleagues in the marketing teams across all global markets to build the Tate brand globally in line with new product launches.
- Engages with and endorses our customer first CRM solution.
- Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
Qualifications
- Degree level in business/marketing essential preferably educated to Masters or postgraduate level; qualification in a technical discipline would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience managing external agency relationships.
- Capable of generating high quality technical marketing content (brochures, catalogues, sales presentations, etc.)
- Command of the English language, both verbal and written. Additional language skills beneficial but not necessary.
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders/partners.
- Strategic thinking that can take broad concepts and vision to develop structured plans, actions, and measurable metrics and then effectively execute those plans.
- Strong analytical skills and rigorous attention to detail.
- Strong business acumen and commercial understanding.
- Knowledge of sustainability strategic planning and execution including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting preferred.
- Strong communications and influencing skills with the ability to build credibility and strong relationships with senior stakeholders as well as the ability to influence and engage with external customers.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, verbal and written; ability to take information and present it to senior stakeholders in a non-complex manner.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize under the pressure of deadlines, while working independently; knows when and how to escalate appropriately.
