Data Center Manager

Seeking a Data Center Manager to oversee specialized activities in a dynamic Data Center environment. The role involves managing access control, space assignment, and inventory, ensuring efficient operation of computer or machine rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and manage access lists, control entry to various rooms.
• Maintain accountability for devices in the machine room.
• Handle property management functions for assigned computer/machine rooms.
• Track equipment installation and removal, including emergency work.
• Update and maintain databases, providing accurate reports.
• Report maintenance issues and perform routine checks.
• Conduct regular room audits, inspections, and ensure room cleanliness.
• Manage power, space, and cooling requirements for all devices, including new installations.
• Oversee a medium-scale Data Center with 2-3 computer rooms.
• Provide training and guidance to personnel with room access.
• Adhere to Agency Policy and documented standards.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Asset Management, Inventory Management, Property Management, or Warehouse Management.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledgeable in inventory and accountability disciplines.
• Familiarity with machine room layout methodologies.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
