Purpose
The Data Specialist works with the CMA and RSS teams on the provision of services. Specifically, the Data Specialist ensures services related to the timely entry of data in the state funder databases and internal CWS database system as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely entry of CMA, EMP and SAS related data into the state funder database
- Ensure that all enrollments and client information is accurate and consistent across databases and reports
- Synthesize and prepare reports using CMA, EMP and SAS program data for submission to management and state funder
- Adhere to quality control processes by regularly reviewing information recorded in databases and client file to ensure that data is accurate
- Manage multiple scheduled reports from ClientTrack and CWS data systems for reporting purposes, data cleanup and data integrity.
- Ensure digital and physical client data are stored and maintained in accordance with grant requirements
- Assist with CMA payment requests as needed and enter checks to ClientTrack on a weekly basis
- Facilitate periodic training and technical assistance related to Data and Reporting
- Perform other related duties as requested by the Office Director and/or the Associate Director of Integration Programs
Qualifications
Education: Associate Degree or 3 years of relative work experience.
Experience: Background in social services setting preferred. Previous work experience with refugee resettlement case management or other direct social services.
Other Skills:
Computer literacy, using word processing and database applications. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Attention to detail, particularly when working with multiple data sets and complex spreadsheets, with a critical eye for accuracy. Must have a valid driver's license.
