Data Analytics Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive tools and strategies that allow raw data to be transformed into business insights.
Duties and Qualifications
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions
- Design and build technical processes to address business issues
- Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics
- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes
- Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams
- Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
- Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs
- Manages the hiring, daily activities, coaching, evaluating and disciplining of reporting staff
- Complies with all federal and state laws and regulations, and all established bank policies and procedures
- Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML
QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, statistics, or data management
- Minimum of eight years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data, and someone with at least 3 years of experience leading a team
- Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes
- Must be analytical, PC literate and knowledgeable of spreadsheet and word processing software
- Advanced knowledge of Excel required
- Flexibility, professionalism, problem solving skills and the ability to make sound financial decisions
- Attention to detail and a high degree of mental concentration as well as the ability to multitask
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform a variety of tasks with numerous interruptions
- Ability to sit in front of a computer screen for long periods of time, which may cause visual strain
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired
ORGANIZATION
- This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
All employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function. In all situations, employees must ensure that their actions fully comply with all federal banking laws and regulations, including internal bank policies and procedures. Failure to adhere to these requirements will be grounds for disciplinary action, including probation and possible termination.
