We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced data professional to join the team as the Manager Data Analytics.
This role will be instrumental in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and enhance operational efficiency. This newly created role will focus on harnessing the power of finance and operational data to provide actionable insights, optimize processes, and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Primary Responsibilities will include:
Strategic Data Analysis:
- Lead the development and execution of Data Analytics strategies for finance and operational data.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to analyse financial trends, identify operational inefficiencies, and recommend strategic improvements.
Data Metrics Development:
- Establish and refine a set of comprehensive data metrics for both finance and operational functions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with organizational goals.
Financial Data Insights:
- Utilize advanced analytics to extract meaningful insights from financial data, aiding in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance to support executive decision-making.
Operational Efficiency Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements by analysing data related to business processes.
- Implement data-driven solutions to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Data Governance and Quality:
- Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of finance and operational data.
- Implement processes for data quality assurance and oversee adherence to data standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with finance, operations, and other departments to understand data needs and collaborate on data-driven initiatives.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support various departments in achieving their goals.
Job Requirements, Skills, Education and Experience:
- Strong experience in Data Analytics, with a proven track record of leadership in a similar role.
- Advanced degree in data science, statistics, business analytics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with data warehousing, data modelling, and ETL processes.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a private equity-backed environment is a plus.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to chair meetings or host webinars at all levels of the organization, including C-level.
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive a comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offer within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.
Work Arrangement
