The Chicago, IL office has an opening for a Data Analyst position. This position reports directly to the Atom Group Manager, or as assigned.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Writes SQL queries to visualize data and create custom reports using business intelligence tools
- Ensures high data integrity through troubleshooting and analysis.
- Assists with bug reporting and troubleshooting reported issues using business analytics tools.
- Assists with data cleansing and data validation for migration large sets of data.
- Creates analytics dashboards used for planning, budgeting, and assessing performance metrics.
- Develops Standard Operating Procedures to be used internally by the team and externally to empower clients to build their own reports and dashboards.
- Adjusts priorities as new requests or issues arise.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in related fields (Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Economics, etc)
- 2-5 years of experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
- Knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of relational databases and data warehouses (BigQuery, etc)
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools (Google Looker Studio, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
- Proficient in basic data analysis using Excel and Google Sheets
- Working knowledge of SQL and intermediate proficiency
- Interpersonal communication skills
