Data Analyst

Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is searching for a Data Analyst to join our team!

This position is responsible for the production, support and maintenance of custom DCN products and services. The Analyst will work closely with the sales team and will serve as part of a team for the Analytics group customers in the support and use of their products.

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics.

Location

This is a remote role that requires occasional travel to the Bedford, MA area.

Core Responsibilities

• Work in a group of 4-6 analysts to provide data analysis and delivery of ongoing services to a set of clients
• Develop a thorough knowledge of Dodge Analytics databases and products
• Support clients by providing an understanding of our proprietary data and its application to their business and industry
• Work directly with specific customers as the key contact for certain information services
• Work with our team of Analytics Sales Specialists in supporting our products with customers and supporting efforts to maintain or enhance our current client relationships
• Build strong relationships with internal sales team to enhance existing services and to promote new business opportunities
• Maintain quality standards in all client deliveries
• Work in a PC-based environment using a variety of software and database packages to provide data analysis and production of numerous client specific deliveries

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree
• 1-4 years of professional work experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, self-motivated team player, and capable of working in an independent atmosphere with minimal supervision
• Technical proficiency with databases and software (ex: MS Access, SQL, Oracle, QuickBase) and Excel spreadsheet applications
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills, including the ability to effectively interact with both customers and team members
• Understanding of basic business analysis
• Exposure to statistical methods (hypothesis testing, sampling, etc.) preferred
• Familiarity with data visualization software (ex: Tableau, Power BI) preferred

Salary Disclosure

DCN’s compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
