Who we are looking for

This role supports the Threat Intelligence Data & Engineering (TIDE) function in State Street’s Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in platform configuration or engineering, cyber Threat Intelligence analysis, and above-average data literacy. Cyber operations experience, including but not limited to prior collaboration with security, engineering, and architecture teams required. Experience with Threat Intelligence platforms, malware sandboxes, SIEM technologies, or pivot tools required.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst – TIDE Analyst you will

  • Operationalize the use of tools, technologies, data, and analytic techniques to derive unique analytic insights
  • Align data, information, and intelligence collection to priority intelligence requirements
  • Obtain and/or enhance product and platform expertise to develop use cases that support tactical and strategic intelligence operations to add value to the Threat Intelligence program
  • Represent CTI in integration, tool evaluation, and process development efforts with partners across the organization
  • Contribute to analytic projects and collaboration across teams in order to deliver custom analytic products to security stakeholders and senior executive customers
  • Maintain and strengthen critical relationships with third-party Data and technology partners

  • Prior experience as a cyber Threat Intelligence analyst in the financial services sector
  • Prior experience supporting threat hunting and security operations at a large enterprise
  • Subject matter expertise with a variety of CTI and enterprise security tools and applications
  • An ability to identify new use cases and deploy documented processes and solutions that enhance analysts’ workflows and add efficiencies to CTI operations

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leveraging security, intelligence, and/or OSINT platforms to support or perform cyber Threat Intelligence tradecraft and intelligence production
  • Advanced degree in information systems or similar desired but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in operational cybersecurity roles
  • Operationally relevant certifications a plus but not required
  • Working knowledge of modern cloud technologies desired
  • Experience with the production and presentation of finished intelligence to tactical, operational, and strategic-level audiences.
  • Demonstrated achievements with process and technology automation (Python, Postman, REST API, JSON, etc.) are desirable

  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Ability to provide no notice and incident support, as required

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $142,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
