- Collaborate with internal and external informatics and program staff to lead the processes for data validation, database development, and key dataset maintenance for ASCO’s quality assessment and reporting programs.
- Coordinate with the Care Delivery program staff, technology vendors, and other departments to track and fulfill requests for program data, quantitative and qualitative statistical analyses and data visualization on datasets as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan for program data and reporting needs, and deliver data in format necessary for dissemination to external and internal stakeholders.
- Support publication of data through analysis, data visualization, and manuscript preparation, coordinating with colleagues.
- Coordinate closely with the team and other internal stakeholders to support participants to fulfill government, grant sponsor, and other reporting requirements.
- Serve as part of testing team to test ASCO’s quality assessment and reporting programs for user acceptability, accuracy, and functionality.
- Assist in administration of Care Delivery programs and volunteer groups.
- Assist in supporting the Care Delivery Help Desk as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent years of experience
- 4+ years of data quality analysis experience
- Proficiency with data visualization softwares including but not limited to Power Bi, Tableau, Looker, and/or Quicksight
- Proficiency in program languages and statistical software including but not limited to with R, Stata, SQL and/or SAS
- Experience in building and maintaining data warehouses
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards
- Knowledge and experience working with and analyzing claims data
- Knowledge and experience working with and analyzing clinical data
- Previous experience working with Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Masters or higher preferred
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to combine and identify patterns across multiple datasets
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- An aptitude in statistics, critical thinking, data visualization, data communication, and statistical analysis
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate and convey information
