College of Medicine - Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine
Responsibilities
- Assists with data organization, management, and analysis related to scientific research.
- Performs computerized data management, merging of databases, and cleaning of data.
- Attends research staff meetings and communicates with other members of research teams.
- Creates database systems to accommodate social science research data.
- Performs data entry and supervises students performing data entry.
- Assures confidentiality of data and migrates data into statistical and database software.
- Provides statistical analyses and reporting of data for faculty research projects.
- Assists with solving technical issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field and at least two years of experience. (Higher education may substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
- Expertise in Social Science Statistical Software, including SPSS and R.
- Experience in research methodology, principles, and practices.
- Experience in using the concepts, principles, and practices of data collection, management, and analyses.
- Experience conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users.
- Experience with analyzing labeled data.

Anticipated Salary Range
$21.55 per hour.
