Summary
As a Data Analyst II in KinderCare's Research and Evaluation team, you will bring your strong analytical and communication skills to bear on our mission of supporting children's learning and growth. The team works with KinderCare's Education and Government Relations departments to implement research programs that document and inform improvements in children's learning outcomes and program quality.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative education data to develop insights about children's learning and program quality
- Create data dashboards and develop new and engaging ways to present key data and reports
- Support implementation of field research and assessment administration, including supporting teachers in receiving training and materials to conduct in-class assessments
- Develop and apply research tools, including survey development, data collection, and documentation and verification of data accuracy
- Provide data to support early childhood education policy and child advocacy efforts, including support of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including organizing, cleaning, and reporting on large datasets
- Experience with educational research and assessment
- Strong data presentation skills, including representing data in dashboards, tables, and graphs that are accessible to stakeholders with a variety of backgrounds
