Job Description
A Data Analyst II obtains, adjusts, and validates data imported from other systems into Illuminate products. As such, part of their work involves working directly with customers to obtain the data we need. They must be detail-oriented and able to spot data problems or inconsistencies, and determine proper remediation's.
In this role as a Data Analyst II, you will:
- Connect a variety of data sources including student information systems, assessment platforms, behavior management systems and more to populate customer sites with accurate and fresh performance metrics.
- Implement and maintain configuration as code to ensure Renaissance dashboards are set up to meet customers’ analytic needs.
- Perform daily triage of managed integrations, following up with customers and engineering as needed.
- Address customer technical questions about managed integrations and performance metrics, consulting on customer calls as needed.
- Proactively look for ways to improve Renaissance managed integrations, technical documentation, configuration as code and data diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with support and implementation specialists to advise and troubleshoot customer data quality issues, consulting on customer calls as needed.
Qualifications
For this role as a Data Analyst II, you should have:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis.
- Proven organizational skills and workflow management.
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of ETL processes
- Experience with regular expressions
- Ability to work independently to solve problems.
- Knowledge of Open Source technologies such as Babelfish for PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Airflow, Snowflake, and Docker
Bonus Points:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Math, Computer Science, Engineering or similar field.
- Knowledge and experience with Renaissance products

Salary Range: $61,800 to $85,000 This range is based on national market data and may vary by location.
