You will be part of the CISO team responsible for defining and maintaining our security policies, procedures, and controls based on regulatory requirements, industry standards, and risk profiles. The Cyber Compliance Officer undertakes a range of operational, administrative, analytical, and reporting activities to ensure compliance with cyber security policies, audit and business requirements. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization’s cyber resilience to relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Coordination:
- Coordinate with the business to ensure internal Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification and ensure it is embedded in our quality processes
- Ensure CMMC compliance across ongoing and new projects.
- Monitor and assess CMMC IT maturity levels within the organization.
ISO 27001 Certification Preparation:
- Lead efforts to prepare for ISO 27001 certification.
- Establish controls, policies, and procedures aligned with ISO 27001 standards.
- Work with stakeholders to achieve successful certification.
Quality Management:
- Set up ongoing quality management practices related to cyber compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance compliance effectiveness.
- Coordinate IT Security Champions in the IT platforms
Cyber Customer Survey Responses:
- Address customer inquiries and audits related to cyber security.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to customer surveys.
- Demonstrate commitment to cyber compliance.
US Cyber Regulation Expertise:
- Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams and stay informed about US cyber regulations and laws.
- Advise business units on compliance requirements.
Experience, skills and behaviours:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience auditing IT security controls across enterprise IT systems and platforms.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of CMMC, ISO 27001,NIST and other relevant standards.
