Combat Mission Systems (CMS), a business unit within BAE Systems Platforms & Services (P&S), has an opening for a Cybersecurity Analyst. The selected candidate will join our Supplier Data Management Team and have an important role in supporting Supply Chain with a strong focus on supplier cyber risk management. Additionally, the candidate will assume a core team member role within the INC Supply Chain Cybersecurity Working Group.
This position will provide professional, technical, and analytical support utilizing procurement tools. This role necessitates the capacity to conduct research and comprehend requirements in alignment with internal policies and procedures.
- This role may be 100% remote.
- The position is on a 9/80 schedule where you will have every other Friday off
- There may be <20% travel involved primarily for team meetings and the potential for an on-site visit to suppliers.
The candidate will be tasked with identifying areas for improvement and proposing ideas to enhance the organization’s ability to procure products and services from cybersecure compliant suppliers. The candidate is expected to become a recognized and acknowledged leader and expert in cybersecurity compliance, embodying a proactive attitude towards process improvement.
The candidate must have the ability to prioritize effectively in response to frequently changing and demanding team requirements. The candidate must be able to work both independently and collaboratively across functions to drive necessary requirements forward.
Other responsibilities include:
- Track Metrics for Supplier Compliance within CMS, ensuring adherence to DFARs 252.204-7012 and 252.204-7019-7020 standards
- Provide Support the Contractor Purchase System Review (CPSR) in collaboration with the Supplier Data Management Team Manager
- Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity compliance
- Assist in organizing and facilitating non-compliance supplier mitigation meetings while monitoring and tracking current suppliers on a mitigation plans and reporting metrics to sector leads
- Handle supplier incidents and responses, coordinating with sector/Inc management teams as needed
- Provide support for Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) audits
- Communicate potential purchasing business systems risks and areas of improvement to relevant stakeholders
- Drive the development of solutions to complex data and systems challenges
- Conduct assessments of alternative tools or procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Collaborate cross-functionally to support the Supplier Data Management team, including assisting with supplier onboarding and other related tasks
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- A degree in Cybersecurity Policy & Risk Management or a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required; 4 years of experience in computer science, computer engineering, or information technology
- Knowledge in interpreting and applying language, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense Acquisition Regulations, Public Laws, and BAE Systems procedures and forms
- Proven experience in cybersecurity or a related field
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies
- Audit & Compliance Management
- Highly proficient in Excel (Dashboards, Spreadsheets, Analysis, Formulas, Data Manipulation, etc.)
- Proficiency in SharePoint creation and management
- Proficiency in data mining and normalization skills
- Experience in Data Analytics and Reporting
- Highly proficient in Organizational and Time management skills
- Professional self-starter and able to work effectively and independently
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
