SalaryPosition Summary:
TheCyber Security Analyst responsibility is to implement, monitor and maintain all aspects of IT Security across Merakey to include data loss prevention, incident response, infrastructure security compliance, vulnerability identification and remediation, threat hunting, and application security.
Successful ideal candidate will be commutable to Lafayette Hill, Coraopolis or Harrisburg, PA. We do have a footprint in additional states that would be considered but would have travel associated with the position- California, Texas, Louisiana, Delaware, Michigan, Ohio, New Jersey.
Pay rate: $85,000-$95,000.Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, and education.
Organizational Relationship:
The incumbent will report to the Director of IT Operations and work closely with the Senior IT Directors and members of the Information Technology team and the business to support secure information process and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate security alerts and incidents.
- Conduct periodic security assessments, reporting findings to management.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the secure design and deployment of projects.
- Stay abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
- Assist in crafting and enforcing security policies and protocols.
- Facilitate security awareness training initiatives for employees.
- Understand initiatives associated with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).

Desired Qualifications:
Certifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Cybersecurity Analyst (CYSA).
- CompTIA Security+.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security-centric roles.
- At least 5 years of in-depth experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
Desired Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) techniques.
- Proficiency in tools like Nessus, Azure, and Proofpoint.
- Experience with SIEM solutions, especially Agio or other related systems.
- Practical understanding of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) tools.
- Familiarity with standards and frameworks like HITRUST, NIST, and ISO27001.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with problem-solving aptitude.
- Stellar communication skills, encompassing both written and spoken forms.
