**This position is ONSITE in Conshohocken, PA**
Purpose:
The Cybersecurity Analyst/IT Support Technician will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization’s digital assets and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality and availability of our systems. This role is also responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures
- Provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and offer prompt and effective solutions to meet our IT needs
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests
- Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high security standard
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and logs to identify potential threats
- Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents
- Implement and manage security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Participate in the development and execution of incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the secure configuration of systems and applications
- Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry trends
- Develop company-wide best practices for IT security.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees
- Respond to client inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT infrastructure
- Assist in the setup and support of network systems
- Document and maintain accurate records of IT support activities
- Educate end-users on basic IT troubleshooting and best practices
- Stay current on technology trends and updates
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and endpoint protection
- Experience with security assessment tools and techniques
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and platforms is a plus
- Scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus
- Previous experience with incident response and digital forensics is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
