This is a 2nd Shift position with hours of 3PM-11:30PM, Monday-Friday.

Cutter Responsibilities:

1. Examine all products being cut for defects.
2. Measure first off parts for accuracy. If too large, trim to correct size; if too small, place in Off-fall area to be used later. Check all products and make the necessary adjustments.
3. Operators are to make periodic spot checks during the shift.
4. Stack each style separately on skids or dollies and take to the correct staging area for the next operation.
5. Clean saws daily before shift is over. Make sure blades and wheels are cleaned proper. Also check blades for missing teeth, dents, stress fractures, broken welds, or imperfections. Notify lead person or supervisor immediately of any mechanical repairs needed.
6. Record all daily production and turn into the production office.
7. Clean work area before leaving each day.

Cutter Qualifications:

1. Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Bandsaw experience is preferred.
