We have an opening for an Experienced Cutter at our Upholstery Manufacturing facility in Archdale, NC.

Qualifications & Job Responsibilities:

A minimum of 3 or more years experience in marking and cutting fabric for fine custom furniture pieces (fabric and leather)

• Ability to read production tickets and any special instructions
• Utilize tools such as scissors, electric cutting knife, hand-held knife, chalk, ruler
• Cut fabric from roll according to specifications
• Must lay out pattern pieces properly and cut fabric exactly so that all points match
• Must use fabric efficiently to minimize as little waste as possible
• Ability to work at a productive pace with no errors
• Work closely with Cutting Group Leader and fabric inventory control
• Understanding of fabric layout-COM, Center cut, flow match, plain cover
• Ability to adjust patterns as needed for custom pieces that may differ from standard
• Must be able to cut leather pieces as needed
