KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responsivle for operating the guillotine machine(s).
- Follow work instructions and best practices.

- Adjust and correct the positioning of material during the cutting process to ensure clean and even cutting of the material according to the specified criteria.
- Conducts visual inspection, looking for contamination, cut blemishes, or improper sizing.
- Collaborate regularly with the Reel Operator on sizing of reel to ensure that waste and scrap material are minimized.
- Perform job functions at a consistent pace while maintaining consistency and accuracy in cutting the material.
- Follow procedures for reporting non-conforming product per ISO Work Instructions.
- Perform in-process and final inspections.
- Complete parts of the Quality Checklist.
- Record documentation as required.
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Three to twelve months’ related manufacturing experience.
- Proven record of exceptional attendance in previous positions.
- Ability to understand and follow ISO Work Instructions.
- Ability to problem solve which requires one or two operations: some work with fractions, decimals, percentages, and averages, manually or with a calculator.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions as needed.
- Ability to check reports, forms, records, and comparable data where interpretation is required using basic knowledge of the position.
- Standing and/or walking for up to eight hours.
- Use of hands to operate shrink wrap and lift boxes.
- Occasional lifting of 50 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs.
- Exposure to and operation of machinery with moving parts.
- Moderate noise level.
- Close vision for inspection of material, labels, and documents.
- Pushing and pulling manual and electric pallet jack.
- Brief exposures to unheated/non-air-conditioned warehouse environment.
