SalaryPosition Duties
- Assist customers by answering questions, carrying their purchases, selecting their purchases.
- Resolve customer issues as needed and inform management of any customer issues or concerns that are not completely resolved.
- Maintain grounds of the retail center and nursery including sweeping, removing trash, cleaning bathrooms, and weeding.
- Perform maintenance duties to ensure the store remains in neat and clean condition at all times.
- Continually expand plant and product knowledge in order to assist customers.
- Communicate with co-workers and management in a clear and timely manner.
- Replenish and restock bags, boxes, shelves, and other products as necessary.
- Properly maintain all equipment and immediately refer any problems to management.
- Attend all meetings as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Please note, this is not a SUMMER job. We are hiring for spring 2024.
Must be able to work 6-8 hour shifts on the weekend days in May. Open positions are for April and May only. Our hours of operation are 8am-9pm daily. Gardening experience and plant experience a plus. This is a customer focused position with garden center labor tasks throughout each shift. Must be able to lift 30lbs repeatedly. Your first shift would be mid April (weather pending)
