Customer Service/Night Clerk

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests.
• Answer all incoming calls.
• Taking reservations for rooms and boat rentals.
• Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them.
• Assisting Late check in.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position
• Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
• Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
• Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
• Strong communication and people skills
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Problem-solving skills
• Customer service orientation
• High School diploma: additional qualifications will be a plus.
• Registers and assigns room to guests.
• Gives and receives keys-maintaining a “key control”.
• Answers inquiries over the telephone and in-person pertaining to hotel services and registration of guests.
• Arranges for room changes as necessary.
• Makes and confirms reservations received in person, over the phone, or over the teletype machine.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
