POSITION: Customer Service Specialist
CLASSIFICATION: Part Time Position, Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Service Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY:
We are looking for a passionate Customer Service Specialist who will partner with and ensure the long term success of our customers.
Customer Service Specialist responsibilities include developing long term relationships with customers. and liaise between them and internal employees to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to our customers.
2. Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
3. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer contacts, and key decision makers.
4. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
5. Update customer information in the customer database during and after each call and create a CRM when necessary. Follow up with these until customer is satisfied and close out the CRM.
6. Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
7. Update job knowledge with conversations with Route Service Representatives and Service department managers.
8. Complete customer uniform work orders in a timely manner and work closely with the Uniform Department Supervisor.
9. Perform daily Route Service Representatives daily check in and reconcile money received for customer COD's.
10. Open the daily mail and distribute to the appropriate company personnel.
11. Various office filing.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Proven 2-3 years Customer Service experience or other relevant office administrative experience.
2. Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
3. Experience in delivering client focused solutions based upon customer needs.
4. Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
5. Excellent listening skills.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. High school diploma or GED required.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a part time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.
