Avenue Shops is looking for an amazing individual to join our fast-growing, fun work environment as a member of our Customer Happiness team.

Ave (as our customers like to call us!) was created to make the lives of boutique owners easier through our boutique-as-a-service. Simply put, that means we take care of all the most time-consuming, tedious, and expensive parts of running a boutique so our customers don’t have to! We source the clothes, write descriptions, take beautiful photographs, ship every order, and more.

Our entire mission as a company is to support our customers as they build their businesses, and to make their lives easier in the process. Not going to lie, friend, we work dang hard! But it’s a ton of fun and so incredibly fulfilling!

Responsibilities
Being a member of the Customer Happiness Team is an incredibly important job. Your team is the primary point of contact for our customers when they’re just getting started and when they need help. The responsibilities and goals you’ll own:

  • Personally respond to and resolve customer questions via chat, email, phone, or text.
  • Multi tasking between Intercom, our CRM, Shopify, Shipping software, and Slack to follow up on customer orders & inquiries.
  • Enroll customers into communication sequences within the CRM system to ensure timely and targeted engagement.
  • Become a pro at all Ave has to offer, and help our customers get the most from our service including questions about our plans & product releases.
  • Loop in other team members on support issues, when needed. You’re not alone! The whole team’s got your back.
  • Help create customers who will never ever leave us by providing amazing, friendly, personal Customer Service.
  • Share customer feedback with the rest of the team and help us improve the service we provide.
  • Add to our company culture and help us build a company people love to work for.

Qualifications
Honestly, we’re less concerned about your education or work experience than we are about who you are as a person! Here is a little more about what we’re looking for:

  • You are energized by interacting with and helping people. You know that everyone has trouble sometimes, and seek to empower and educate our customers.
  • You love reading and learning about new ways of doing things. if there’s a better way to do something, you want to find it.
  • You look on the bright side! We’re a glass is half full kind of company.
  • You bring solutions to the table not just problems. (But you aren’t afraid to point out where we’re going wrong).
  • You’re comfortable with a little chaos and uncertainty. We’re a startup!
