MISSION
The mission of Mercy Health is to extend the healing ministry of Jesus by improving the health of our communities with emphasis on people who are poor and under-served.
SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The associate models the BSMH mission by demonstrating values of superior Customer Service and creating positive first and last impressions.
The associate will assess and address all customer needs by providing information and assistance.
The associate's responsibility is to provide quality service relations to patients, families, contact persons, visitors, medical staff, volunteers and health center staff.
The associate helps facilitate the activities off all inquiries at the information desk.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Customer service, phone and PC experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of all departments and contact persons to properly direct patient and visitors.
Excellent phone, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient PC skills.
Understands HIPAA and patient confidentiality laws.
